Who is Hi-Grill?

Founded in 2009 by designer Robin Gibson, Hi-Grill is a range of British made electric eye-level salamander grills for the home that are convenient to use, space saving and economic to run. What is a Salamander grill?

The Salamander grill, a common sight in the professional kitchen, is a high temperature overhead grill usually used for cooking, toasting or browning. Generally mounted at eye-level, they are similar to the high level grills made popular on cookers of the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s.

Foldaway Salamander

Wall mounted, eye-level electric salamander grill that folds away after use. A discrete and space saving modern version of the hugely popular Cannon foldaway grill. Available in black, white or stainless steel.

Fixed Salamander Plus

Wall mounted, eye-level electric salamander grill with open sides, base and front. Ideal for mounting directly over a hob as it does not obstruct sight lines. 2 models available with the optional free-standing stainless steel splash-back support (shown in video) which needs no installation - simply place on the worktop and plug it in.

Rotisserie Kit

The optional large capacity rotisserie kit fits on to the Foldaway and Fixed Salamander grills, is easy to use, and allows you to spit roast food as you would find in the best bistros and restaurants.
